HOW DID WE GET HERE?
Kind of by accident… we (me – Heather – and my partner Richie) worked in the world of corporate design and marketing. Back in 2013 several clients asked us to design their wedding stationery. We soon realised that this allowed us to work with happy, enthusiastic customers, whilst creating beautiful, personal work that really made a difference to individuals and helped – in a small way – to make the most important day of their lives even more amazing!! Who wouldn’t want more of that?
We started working in our spare room, part-time at first, along side our ‘real’ jobs, with a couple of macs and an internet connection, creating wedding stationery designs that we were really proud of. But we wanted more control; to not only design, but produce our products, so that we knew they were top quality and that we could always deliver a perfect product on time without relying on other suppliers.
So we expanded… we now have a design studio and small factory in Kent, South East England… we design, print, foil, cut, laminate, laser cut and all sorts of other fun things ourselves, with the help of a small dedicated team of lovely people… all of whom love weddings and understand the importance of ‘getting it perfect’ just as much as Richie and I. And let’s not forget Lillie and Buster, our dedicated cocker spaniels who join us in the workplace most days. They contribute a limitless supply of cuddles for our team and any visitors.
So we now have the perfect full-time ‘proper’ jobs, creating award-winning, elegant, contemporary and design-led wedding stationery including save the dates, invitations and invitation sets, table plans and much more. We have a range of collections – rustic, elegant, classic and romantic designs – all of which can be customised – change colours, paper type, shape/size, wording, so it works perfectly for you. And we love creating new designs for couples, that perfectly capture their relationship, passions or journey… wedding stationery offers the first glimpse of a couple’s wedding style and a hint of what’s to come; it’s even more special when it truly reflects their style and personality.
